Hello my fellow bloggers! On my last blog, I talked about Chick-fil-a’s leadership. On this blog, I want to talk about how you can expand your leadership abilities and how you can use it in marketing. Using your influence wherever you are to add value to others in any way you can will increase the ability to lead. Great leaders promote their businesses on social media to add values to other people. Great leaders are not afraid to make mistakes. Too many people  avoid risks because they are afraid of failure. It is very important to remember who to target and who will buy your food. Majority of people that loves chick-fil-a are teenagers and to get them to eat your food to advertise it on social media such as instagram, facebook, snapchat, and so many more. Give your best and good things will come your way. I think that  Chick-fil-a’s leadership and a strong corporate culture is very important in marketing because during the lectures in marketing, we talk about how businesses use social media to advertise their products. I think Chick-fil-a does a great job in advertising on social media and that is a key step in growing your franchise. Also Chick-fil-a logo or the brand name has an effect on people who likes Chick-fil-a and it attracts new customers. George Lois once said “great advertising makes good food taste better, it makes cars  run better, it changes the perception of everything.” that is very true when it comes to Chick-fil-a because the more they advertise their products, the more customers they get.

Great leaders also realizes that their competitors also advertise their products online as well. It is your job to make a great advertisement for your product to be able to compete with your competitors. Chick-fil-a uses Eat Mor Chikin advertisement strategy to convince people to eat their chicken rather than eating the competitors chicken. Great leaders also know how to price their products based on their competitors because you don’t want to price your products way too high or way too low. Most people don’t care about the price when it comes to Chick-fil-a because they know the quality of their chicken is better than any other chicken from another restaurant. As we learned in today’s lecture, a franchise decides the price of their product based on how many people are willing to eat their product instead of eating their competitor’s. Leaders are successful because of good marketing strategies that they use to expand their franchise and let people know about their product.

Leadership

Leadership

I’m going to talk about how Chick-fil-a demonstrates leadership in my next blog. There are five leadership lessons that Chick-fil-a represents. The first leadership lesson is serving others with a smile on your face. If you’ve been at a Chick-fil-a restaurant, you know the restaurant staff has been trained to assist people very very politely and thanking them with a huge smile. Serving people with a smile on your face brings happiness not just to you but also to the person you are serving food too. The second leadership lesson is to remember great leaders that came before us. I’ve worked at a Chick-fil-a for two years and from my experiences, I’ve learned to always remember great Chick-fil-a leader's. It’s great to learn about them because they might help you to become a great leader as well. They are the ones that laid the foundation for us to be where we are right now as a Chick-fil-a organization. The third Chick-fil-a leadership lesson is to always treat your employees with respect and treat them right. This is really a life lesson as well because you want to treat other people the way you want to be treated. Chick-fil-a does a very nice job on treating their employees well. They provide meals for each employees that works at the store. The choice is up to the employee to choose whatever he or she wants. The fourth Chick-fil-a leadership lesson is invite others in. Chick-fil-a want the outsiders to experience their culture at first hand. They are always inviting people to come grab something to eat and socialize. Inviting people gives you the opportunity to show them what you do, why you do it, and show them that Chick-fil-a is the real deal. The last but not least Chick-fil-a leadership lesson is to always share your story. Chick-fil-a cares about people and their lives. Its one of the ways that they honor and glorify God. They want to hear your story and they will take the time to sit with you and just listen to you. As I’ve said earlier, working for Chick-fil-a as made me a better person because of what they stand for. They love people and love serving people. If you have a story to tell anyone, honestly Chick-fil-a is the right place to work for. Sharing your story makes people invest in you and in the near future, they might help you. What I’ve gotten from these five Chick-fil-a leadership lesson is to always try your best to be the best person as you can be because you never know when you might change someone’s life.

Today I am going to talk  about how chick-fil-a uses the 4 P's of marketing mix. Chick-fil-a uses several methods to advertise their products. Chick-fil-a uses the 4 P's of the market mix to understand what the product or service can offer and how to plan for a successful product offering. The 4 P's that the chick-fil-a uses are Product,Price, Promotion, and Place. The first P is Product. Chick-fil-a make their product fresh and daily. their fresh products are what separates them from other restaurants. Since chick-fil-a make fresh products, they make their price higher than any other restaurants to be reasonable and to make profit. The second P is Price. usually people tend to spend more money on a good product. Because of the quality of their product, chick-fil-a prices are higher than an average fast food restaurant. The third P is Promotion. The way chick-fil-a promote their products is through their religious beliefs and their fresh products to attract their customers. In their official statement, their corporate purpose is to "glorify God''. They make all of their business decisions around their religious beliefs. This gives them an advantage above their competitors because it attracts more people who also follow their beliefs. closing on Sunday is a very competitive advantage for Chick-fil-a because it shows that the company sticks to their beliefs. It draws in customers who follow those religious beliefs and it attracts loyal customers. Promotion includes elements such as advertising, public relation, social media marketing email marketing, video marketing and more. The last P is Place. “ From the billboards to water towers, TV to radios, there is no place that is off limits for the renegade cow’s self-preservation message.” Chick-fil-a uses pretty much everything to promote their products. They’ve been spotted hanging from the side of buildings and made an appearance on big professional sporting games. Obviously they’ve been very successful because of their restaurants across the country. Over the years they’ve inspired thousands of Americans to go to their local Chick-fil-a restaurant to celebrate what is now Cow Appreciation Day every july. Chick-fil-a uses social media as a way to promote their products such as instagram, facebook, twitter, and other websites. Chick-fil-a have been pretty successful about bringing their products to professional games and advertising their products there. Chick -fil-a uses the 4 P’s of the marketing mix as a way to advertise their products and they are pretty successful because of it.

Chick-fil-a is God’s mission

This blog will be about chick-fil-a's mission statement.Chick-fil-a mission statement  is to serve customers as a way to glorify God by being a faithful steward to all that is entrusted to us. To have a very positive influence on all who come across chick-fil-a. Chick-fil-a is closed on Sundays because it’s God’s day. From my experiences working at chick-fil-a, every two months, we go to a park and give away sandwiches to the community as a way to show God’s message. We also give them chick-fil-a cards in case they want to come back as a way of advertising our store. The audience that we target is any age because everybody loves chick-fil-a. This blog will demonstrate character and communication. Being able to communicate with customers and employees is crucial if you want to be successful as an operator and attracting more customers. Chick-fil-a's number one priority is to serve their customers food with a kind heart and to serve them fresh food all the time.Chick-fil-a's customer service exceeds any other fast food restaurant. They welcome you warmly and they always thank you for your order. There are two simple words that every employee that works at chick-fil-a have to say. If a customer says thank you, you respond with "my pleasure". The restaurants are always clean and the tables have fresh flowers and they check on you to make sure you are served.Seven things that chick-fil-a does better than any other fast food restaurants are memorable experience, say "my pleasure" instead of "you're welcome", greet customers with an umbrella when is raining outside, always fresh flowers inside the store, "table touches" to check in mid-meal, carry customer's trays to their table, calling customers by name, not by number, and finally genuine empathy when expectation are not met. Communication is a major key working at chick-fil-a because employees have to communicate with each other in order to satisfy their customers. Chick-fil-a also have an image online advertising. It creates a personal connection with its customers. They are always posting something new on Facebook, and other social medias  to gain more customers. With its strong values and the ability to engage with its customers whether in the store or online, chick-fil-a has build an exceptional brand image. Last year, chick-fil-a had the most sales of any chicken restaurant chain. Chick-fil-a's mission statement is incredible compare to any other fast food restaurant.
