Hello my fellow bloggers! On my last blog, I talked about Chick-fil-a’s leadership. On this blog, I want to talk about how you can expand your leadership abilities and how you can use it in marketing. Using your influence wherever you are to add value to others in any way you can will increase the ability to lead. Great leaders promote their businesses on social media to add values to other people. Great leaders are not afraid to make mistakes. Too many people  avoid risks because they are afraid of failure. It is very important to remember who to target and who will buy your food. Majority of people that loves chick-fil-a are teenagers and to get them to eat your food to advertise it on social media such as instagram, facebook, snapchat, and so many more. Give your best and good things will come your way. I think that  Chick-fil-a’s leadership and a strong corporate culture is very important in marketing because during the lectures in marketing, we talk about how businesses use social media to advertise their products. I think Chick-fil-a does a great job in advertising on social media and that is a key step in growing your franchise. Also Chick-fil-a logo or the brand name has an effect on people who likes Chick-fil-a and it attracts new customers. George Lois once said “great advertising makes good food taste better, it makes cars  run better, it changes the perception of everything.” that is very true when it comes to Chick-fil-a because the more they advertise their products, the more customers they get.

Great leaders also realizes that their competitors also advertise their products online as well. It is your job to make a great advertisement for your product to be able to compete with your competitors. Chick-fil-a uses Eat Mor Chikin advertisement strategy to convince people to eat their chicken rather than eating the competitors chicken. Great leaders also know how to price their products based on their competitors because you don’t want to price your products way too high or way too low. Most people don’t care about the price when it comes to Chick-fil-a because they know the quality of their chicken is better than any other chicken from another restaurant. As we learned in today’s lecture, a franchise decides the price of their product based on how many people are willing to eat their product instead of eating their competitor’s. Leaders are successful because of good marketing strategies that they use to expand their franchise and let people know about their product.
